I'm new to this forum; mmg is my wife. We recently lost our 10-year-old Cairn, Ronan, to Cushing's Disease. Here are two haikus I composed in his memory (my wife will add a third shortly).

Welcome Home

Evening door opens,

Ronan pads up, tail wagging:

Joy, plain and simple!

Sorry, I wrote these next two after a visit to the humane society today. My dd wanted to stop in to pray for the animals. I didn't know it would be so upsetting for me.
