bradl
Wow. That painting makes me feel at peace with world. Somehow it seems both perky and serene, colorful and calm. CAIRNTALK: Questions? Teri9672
I love everyone stuff........I have a problem with collections myself I don't have much Cairn stuff yet. I did get this neat purse for my b-day I also got the Toto book for x-mas. I do have 2 clay sculptures here on my desk at work that someone made me. (they look like my girls), but I don't have any pics of them.
tlwtheq
ParNone. Did you get those statues from a company called "Sandicast"? That's where the ones that were given to me a number of years ago came from. I also have a black brindle and wheaten pair. They represent my Shadow and Holdsworth who've both passed on to the rainbow bridge. I also have a stuffed Cairn like the one in the first append. Oh, and my sister-in-law gave me a sweater several years ago populated with Cairns. And my Mom did a needlepoint piece of Holdsworth. I love these guys. All the collectables keep them close. ParNone
Thanks for the compliments y'all! I already passed them onto Judes and she was tickled pink. hiya Olie and Teddy's Mom! It's been awhile since my Mom bought them for me, but I'm pretty sure they are from Sandicast. I wish I could get some to represent my Smooth Collies too, but doubtful that'll ever happen. I use to think it was really hard to find Cairn collectibles, until I got Smooth Collies. Les... Scully'sMom
Like Bekah, I'm from PA and you can only buy Westie collectibles, etc. Even long ago when I had my first Cairn I couldn't find anything. I'll have to take a picture of a pen and ink picture my SIL did of my first Cairn Ginger. I guess when I told her I didn't know how much time Ginger had left, she and my mom got together and took photos of Ginger and they she did the portrait from that. newcairn
Shoe mentioned she received a new stuffed Cairn and I got thinking how much fun it would be to see eachother's Cairn collection. Mine is very small, but here's my stuffed Cairns. Here's my Cairn figurines. I know that little white one if probably a Westie, but he's still part of my collection. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Toomanypaws, where do you get those stuffed Cairns. Particularly the one in the back with the nice wirey hair? He looks real! Just curious, I would like to get one as a gift for my breeder. newcairn
Actually, I think I found it...His name is Aiden? How about the others you have in that collection? Can you tell me where to find them? I can never find anything Cairn. darn Scotties take up all the market. And they're nasty little rats! I found one through Kathy'screations that looks really cute. http://www.kathyskreations.com/stuffed%20a...rrier%20dog.htm “In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human. toomanypaws
Newcairn, That large Cairn is by Douglas. I think he's retired. I found him last year on ebay for $34.00. In my picture, the little Cairn on the right is by Douglas too. The red brindle one next to it is from My Twin catalog. The two on the left were just found in boutique type shops. The little Toto in the basket is from Build A Bear. The larger Toto in basket I ordered online. Some of the figurines I found on ebay. The globe one is from Hallmark. Here's another Cairn by Douglas, tho this one is floppy: http://www.stuffedark.com/cairnterrier.htm I LOVE the one you found and just may have to add him to my collection. <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/maiwag/terriersiggy.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" /> Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)

bradl
We 'won' this doorstop at a raffle at a local Cairn club event. This one we got at a vendor at the biggest local dog show cluster (Rose City Classic). With it's long back I'm afraid it looks a bit like a Cairn crossed with a Dandie Dinmont. CAIRNTALK: Questions? Cairns2
For those of you in the Northeast, several stores at the Mohegan Sun casino in CT have a nice selection of Wizard of Oz collectibles. I was able to get the"We're not in Kansas anymore" license plate in one of the stores. They had a beautiful cookie jar that is a bust of Dorothy holding Toto but it was $100!!! I didn't win that much money! I also got an ornament of Toto sitting in the basket. One store had a whole collection of cows in different characters. One was a black cow with the green witch's face and black hat! Really cute!

I love to show her off, she was a dog above dogs....my best friend. rest in peace
Catfish1
Abe's Dad,...your painting goes way beyond a "collectable". When art comes from deep in the heart it becomes a priceless treasure.
