I feel so bad for you words cannot express. I lost Molly two years ago. I cried and slept for a couple of months and decided I needed another friend. I now have Roxie and Vinnie, two cairns, but there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of Molly. It does get better.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. We lost "Sable" 2 years ago after 17 years on this Earth. Not a day

passes that I don't think about him. After 6 months, we got "Chase" from a local breeder. A year later, we got "Gus"... same Dad and Mom just this years litter. Both of them have a lot to offer us. My wife handled it well but I was a basket case for 18 months.

She said to me " Sable was here for a long time, it was his time to go... now his 2 brothers carry on for him. They will never replace him, just succeed him." This helped me a lot. I hope it helps you.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... :halo:

May God Bless

You must give some time to your fellow men. Even if it's a little thing, do something for others - something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

It's because cats simply can't be trusted for heavy lifting & dirty work required in the war on terrior.
